Appeals and complaints regarding certification of persons

If you wish to make an appeal or a complain about DBI Certification's activities in connection with certification of persons, please do so in writing to: Cert_brand@DBICertification.dk, labelled 'Certification of persons'.
It is DBIC's aim to ensure impartial and efficient handling of appeal and complaints. At the same time, we strive to finalize appeals and complaints within 6 weeks of receipt. After handling of the appeal or complaint, DBIC notifies the complainant of the decision in writing.

DBIC's decisions cannot be appealed to another administrative authority. Any disputes must be settled in accordance with Danish law and with the Court of Glostrup as jurisdiction.

Glossary

By "appeal" is meant a written request from an applicant or certified fire safety consultant that DBIC reconsiders the decision regarding their desired certification status.

By "complaint" is meant a written statement of dissatisfaction with the DBIC's activities or one of DBIC certified fire safety consultant activities. The complaint must be sent to DBIC.
