Mechanism for ensuring impartiality
DBI Certification A/S works with certification in the technical area of fire and security, with a primary focus on product certification and QMS certification of installation companies in Denmark.
The product certification area includes both the creation of voluntary certification schemes with a background in the specified specifications and arrangements that will support manufacturers’ need to obtain the wheel mark/CE mark for their products.
The basis for accreditation is an EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012, with reference to section 5.2, on establishment of a "mechanism for ensuring impartiality".
In SKS approval, the basis for authorisation of inspection agencies for approval and monitoring of quality systems.
Instead of creating a mechanism for each certification area, a broad composite "mechanism" with cross-professional competences will be able to manage the relevant certification areas.
